Agency Philosophy and Introduction

It is the philosophy of Angela Preschool & Kindergarten that children to be encouraged to learn and grow by providing a foundation of developmentally appropriate experiences where all children can succeed in a safe and nurturing environment.

We believe Knowledge is power. Good attention span is an important factor for children to learn and to succeed in the future. Our programs provide inclusive settings that recognize children's varied abilities, interests, needs, and learning styles. We design interesting activities to attract children’s attention long enough to learn.

We also believe meaningful play encourages curiosity, discovery, problem solving and social skill which allows individual growth and development of a positive self-image. Our instructional teaching games, children interactive games and appropriate toys time program reflects the integration of physical, cognitive, social, emotional, language, self help and aesthetic areas for the total development of the child.

We believe that if our children know both the competitor and themself when they grow up, they will never be a loser. Now, China is one of our most important competitor. To understand China, begin with understanding Chinese culture. We provide bilingual curriculum in English and Chinese.

We recognize that the development occurs from birth to 3 years provides the foundation for subsequent development across domains. Parents are the child's first teachers. Children learn best when parents are involved in their educational program. The primary bridge between home and school is the involvement of family and community. Communication between parents, teachers and school can help.

For us to achieve all of the above goal, children’s physical healthy is the foundation. We participate the Child and Adult Care Food Program. By following this program’s rules, we ensure to provide healthy meals to children. We lead children to do morning exercise and ensure there are enough exercise time for children.

Angela Preschool & Kindergarten has over 20 years history. We try our best to provide the types of teaching activities and classroom emphases that contribute to a high-quality early education for children include the following:
• opportunities to learn persistence when working at tasks, direction following, and good listening skills
• focus on language and literacy skills, as well as interactive book reading (with projector) emphasis on teaching children problem-solving skills.
• helping children expand their knowledge and increase their vocabulary
• opportunities to learn beginning skills involving the alphabet, numbers, and spatial awareness
• focus on scientific thinking skills as well as information about everyday environment, the world, and how things work. We design experiments in different field and opportunity for parents to get involve. 
• emphasis on teaching early literacy and mathematics through a variety of activities and projects. We teach ten system which including number divide, make tens and using ten system skills for addition over ten and borrowing subtraction.
• opportunity for children to engage in music, art, and dramatic play
• educational program in which parents are involved and have opportunities to watch and take part in classroom activities
• We teach in English, Chinese and some Spanish
